Pine Grove offers a wide variety of ministries for all ages.
There is a wonderful nursery/toddler program for infant thru 3 years. Jody
Shields leads this ministry and ensures that we have a caring staff to take care of your children
at all Wednesday & Sunday Gatherings.
Also" Kingdom Kidz"
is an exciting Children`s Church program for all kids 4yrs thru 6th grade. Morgan and Marianne Foster lead
this regular Sunday Morning worship service at 10:30 AM in the old sanctuary.
Pine Grove Sunday
School has really grown since moving into our new facility. We are seeing new faces every Sunday and there are classes for
all ages. Come and study God`s word and how it applies to your life. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM.
Pine Grove music
programs are led by Choir Director Caroline McKemie and Worship Team Leader Mark Clark. The Crossfire Worship Team
is led by Amy Brown. The choir meets every Wednesday at 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome to come and make a joyful noise. The Worship team
meets every Sunday at 5:00 pm for practice and usually leads the worship in Sunday
night service at 6:00 pm.
Pine Grove also has
a great Youth Program which is led up by Alan & Pam Wallace along with Youth Pastor Judson Price. The youth make
up a large part of Pine Grove and are constantly busy ministering in many areas. The youth meet on Wednesday nights and Sunday
nights.
The "Friendship Class"
meets every Sunday morning. This is the Senior Citizens of Pine Grove and this group is on the go a lot. This class is led
by Jay and Joan Rodgers. They meet in the old Sanctuary at 9:30 AM.
There are several Home
Groups that meet on Monday nights. These groups meet in the homes of Pine Grove members who are involved in this ministry.
One has been organized since 1981 and is led by Ken Mckemie our senior Home Groups Pastor. We have recently began more
groups for younger adults. Those interested in being involved in this special time for sharing joys and burdens and letting
God meet the needs in our Church Family should contact Ken Mckemie or one of the pastors.
In realization of
the need to reach out to the people in our community and share God’s love with them, a ministry was organized to focus
our attention on those all over the Pine Grove area. Prayer On Wheels is a ministry to cover our particular area with prayer.
As we ride thru the community of Pine Grove we focus on the deep needs of the unsaved and hurting people, primarily the need
to know the saving knowledge of God. As a result we have been blessed with many new faces in Church and a majority have chosen
to become a part of the Pine Grove Family.
Pine Grove Men’s
Group is a vital part of Pine Grove. The men meet every 1st Sunday for breakfast and have several suppers and events like
the Men's Growth Fellowship during the year to raise money for special projects needed around the Church. Justin
Shields is the current President.
Wednesday night service
includes a variety of "Lighthouse Groups" that meet at 7:00pm. Come and find your place
of worship and enjoy the fellowship with other Pine Grover's.
Pine Grove United
Methodist Women (UMW's) meet every 4th Monday at 7:00 pm. The UMW helps with projects in the Church such as providing food for
covered dish meals and food committees organized each month to reach out to those in need. The UMW also has fund raisers during
the year to help the needs of special projects within the Church. The UMW is a very active ministry of Pine Grove and meets
many of the needs of our Church Family. Donna Hudmon is the current President.
The Pine Grove Media
Ministry is also an extremely active ministry. If you have ever been called a tech junkie, computer geek or web head
you are prequalified to join this challenging ministry. Our purpose is to advance the ministries of Pine Grove through improved
administration, enhanced communication and interactive media. The Pine Grove website is updated regularly by members of the Pine Grove Media Ministry. We also provide our Pastor's weekly sermons as a FREE mp3
audio download as well as a FREE real time CD/DVD duplication service of the message. The sermon CD's are
available immediately following morning and evening worship celebrations usually within 5 minutes. One of our many other
functions is the capture and production of videos of many of the major events that happen at Pine Grove. You
can check out some of our work by following the Media link on the Pine Grove Website's navigation bar. We also maintain a Church database to enhance communications and
aid in ministry development and deployment. Another service we provide is the research and specification of
computer, projection, video, audio and lighting equipment. Our goal is to maximize the investments value and
ensure the best equipment fit for the need. We are often able to provide alternative solutions for the ministries at
